As a tenured strategic development and sales professional, Tamara McCalla possesses several years of experience in the private, public and nonprofit sectors.
As the Public Sector Account Manager at Halcyon Solutions, McCalla is tasked with strategically developing Halcyon’s staff augmentation and project-based footprint in various State governments, municipalities, as well as colleges/universities.
Subsequent to her career with Halcyon, McCalla worked with several public sector entities and committees to enhance fundraising capabilities and develop fundraising models while serving as a member of the Public Sector Campaign Team and then moving on to serve as the Director of Public Sector Campaigns at United Way of Central Ohio.
McCalla prides herself in being a native Ohioan and continues to serve as a community leader, advocate and volunteer. She has been listed in Who’s Who in Black Columbus as a local community leader as well as been a participant in the United Way of Central Ohio’s Project Diversity and the African American Leadership Academy. In addition, she has received accredited training in Dale Carnegies’ Relationship Advantage and Consultative Selling to name a few.
McCalla has a B.S., in Organizational Management from Wilberforce University as well as an M.B.A, with a focus on Leadership from Franklin University.
