Programmer Analyst
Halcyon Solutions, Inc. seeks a Programmer Analyst to work in Dublin, Ohio.
Job Description and Job Duties
Consult with business users to gather information about specific needs, objectives, functions, features, input and deliverables. Design and Test Computer Programs. Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environments, and interface with other systems, internal and external checks controls and outputs. Review and analyze system specifications to determine whether all required elements have been included in product design. Utilize VB.NET, HTML, DHTML and JavaScript to design and develop collaboration applications enabling stake holders to collaborate in real time and to streamline business processes. Design business solutions and document management applications using .NET, ASP.NET, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). Utilize Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Web Services, Microsoft Commerce Server software in order to design innovative business solutions to client needs. Build service orientated applications using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) interface and build servers to meet client requests using SQL server.
Special Requirements
Must have a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Must have Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as a System Analyst
Must have Six (6) months of experience must have included the following:
- Software: Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Web Services, Microsoft Commerce Server;
- Framework: .NET, ASP.NET, WPF;
- Languages: VB.NET, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript;
- Interface: WCF; and
- Database: SQL Server.
